Cornerstone Lodge is a place where hurting church leaders can find healing and renewal. Visits are anonymous and are professional counselors always on duty.
The newly built, Victorian-style lodge has all the comforts of home, but the atmosphere lets you slip back to a simpler time. A time without the distractions and temptations that too often keep us from seeking God's forgiveness and healing.
At Cornerstone, there's plenty of time for prayer and reflection, quiet walks along wooded paths, rocking on the front porch, and fishing in the well-stocked lake. But there's also time to confront problems, deal with them, and learn coping techniques to prevent them from reoccurring.
“And all is done under the leadership and Spirit of God. You’ll sense His presence the moment you step inside Cornerstone. With His very present help, your hurts will begin to heal.”
Nestled in a 600-acre retreat setting, Cornerstone is 35 miles from Dallas and 58 miles from the DFW airport. Transportation is provided to the Lodge.
The Lodge opened in 2005 and includes seven comfortably furnished guest suites, library, dining room, and meeting room. Five rooms have double or queen-sized beds and two have twin beds—one equipped for mobility challenged guests. The facilities are wheelchair-accessible. One of our professional counselors is also a registered nurse and may be available to help with minor needs. The facility is less than 10 minutes from a regional hospital.
Individual and couples counseling occurs only during times when Cornerstone is otherwise unoccupied.
"We have no preprogrammed approach to crisis counseling, but we
recommend that you consider making a commitment to come for one of
our retreats."
